Syamak Ghiai, DDS, MScDS

A Tampa native, Dr. Syamak Ghiai received a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating from the Case Western School of Dentistry in 1989, Dr. Ghiai stayed at the school to earn his Master of Science in Dentistry in Periodontics. Although he began his career in Cleveland, Dr. Ghiai soon returned home to Tampa and began working with Florida Dental Centers. For the past 30 years, countless patients have benefited from Dr. Ghiai’s compassion and outstanding skill and expertise, which includes extensive continuing education in the field of periodontology, specifically tissue grafting, bone grafting and implants. Dr. Ghiai has been a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American College of Oral Implantology, American Society of Osseointegration and American Dental Association. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, photography and collecting stamps. He is excited to have passed on his passion for dentistry to his daughter, who also plans to attend dental school.
